While the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center (IHMEC) undergoes renovation at the Skokie, Illinois location, a temporary exhibit space was developed in downtown Chicago to bring the cutting edge virtual experiences from the main campus as well as a newly developed timeline space to visitors.

The Final Decade, B.B. King Museum
In 2021, the B.B. King Museum opened an additional exhibit space that covered the final decade of B.B.’s life and featured an overview off his discography, both studio and live albums, as well as his extensive touring history. Also included was work on the Memorial Courtyard around B.B.’s final resting place.
